Distinction Doors has just announced it has appointed David Amos as a Non-Executive Director.

Andrew Fowlds, Distinction’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are delighted David has chosen to join us. His manufacturing background and wealth of industry knowledge will be invaluable to us.”

David commented: “I was delighted to accept the position of Non-Executive Director. Distinction is an efficient, well-run and dynamic company. Everyone knows it has the leading products in the composite door sector but what’s less well-known is the quality, talent and commitment of the people involved in the business. I’m proud to be joining the team and look forward to adding value to it.”

David’s appointment is a prestigious one for Distinction Doors. He is a familiar face in the industry as co-founder of D&G Consulting, a leading provider of market and industry reports and consulting services. He set up the firm with his business partner, Godfrey Arnold, who sadly passed away in 2015 after a short illness. His background is in manufacturing and he started his career in the motor industry.

David said: “D&G was a key part of my working life but by accepting the role of Non-Executive Director I have the opportunity to use my experience to play a strategic yet practical role in one of the industry’s most dynamic companies. Distinction Doors has exciting plans for the year ahead so all I can say is ‘Watch this space!’”

Distinction Doors is the UK’s largest supplier of composite doors. It is known for leading the way in the sector and if David’s words are anything to go by, it will continue to do so in 2017. What’s more, with David Amos as Non-Executive Director, it will be doing so with the expertise and experience of one of the industry’s leading names on board to support an already talented and committed team.
