YALE SETS THE STANDARD

Alimatic Architectural Aluminium Systems, a successful and growing commercial aluminium fabricator in Braintree, Essex, has just invested in a new Spring S4 4 Axis Machining Centre, a TT405 Double Mitre Saw and a HP114 Corner Crimping Machine from Haffner Murat.

NEW URBAN ROOM BROCHURE |
Work is well underway on the new 300,000 sqft warehouse and distribution centre for leading systems supplier, Epwin Window Systems. Based in Telford, Shropshire the large-scale new build facility is due to be completed and operational by the end of the year.
The impressive 18-acre site will be home to both the new warehouse and distribution centre and the new 160,000 sqft aluminium finishing plant which opened in September 2019.

MINISTER TO RECEIVE BREXIT DIVIDED MESSAGE |
The new Construction Minister Nadhim Zahawi MP is set to make his first industry appearance at UK Construction Week (UKCW), the UK’s largest built environment event, at the NEC in Birmingham on Wednesday 9 October.
A survey of over 900 construction professionals conducted by UKCW asked respondents what their one request to the Construction Minister and the Government would be.
The results of the survey revealed an increasingly impatient industry still focused on Brexit, but split between those who want the Government to ‘Get Brexit completed’ (37%, with the vast majority of those favouring a “no ifs or buts” approach), and those who want to ‘Cancel Brexit altogether’ (32%).

Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) has announced that its automated gate safety campaign, Gate Safety Week, has become Gate Safety Month.
