National Plastics’ annual conference celebrates the company’s achievements

National Plastics’ annual company conference held at The Vale Resort in the Vale of Glamorgan on 7th January 2017, was a mixture of fun and serious business with an overall message of celebration following another successful year for the UK’s leading trade counter network.

MD Geoff Foster sent out a message of thanks to the thousands of National Plastics’ customers across the country that have made the company so successful and reminded his staff that customers and customer service must continue to be the cornerstones of the National Plastics operation.

Over 100 representatives from National Plastics’ 32 depots attended the day’s events and were joined by their partners in the evening to celebrate the highest achieving depots in the network and to motivate all branches for the year to come. The prestigious Depot of the Year went to the Portsmouth Depot for a second year running.

A supplier exhibition earlier in the day allowed branch staff to talk to suppliers about the ranges they currently sell and to view many of the new products that will be introduced to National Plastics depots over the coming months.

National Plastics’ company conference is an opportunity for the company to thank its staff and suppliers, to review 2016 and unveil plans for 2017. The company has once again shown considerable business growth during 2016, despite tough trading conditions, and with a range of new product lines being introduced throughout the trade counter network in 2017, it looks set to be a good year too.
