September saw PiGstrotting up to Scotland for the third year running, with the Glasgow event proving more and more popular with each visit.
St Judesbar was inundated with glazing guys and gals from both the north and south of the border, who took the opportunity to catch up with friends in the industryas well as making new acquaintances.
“It’s great to see the PiGsnight in Glasgow getting busier each year,” said Sarah Ball from Balls2 Marketing, organisers of the industry’s premier networking event. “There were lots of new faces in attendance and we kept the bar staff rushed off their feet for the whole night. We’ll almost certainly need to move to a bigger venue for 2020!”
Glasgow also saw the debut of the new PiGs speech bubbles, replacing the traditional ‘selfie board’.
“We’re always thinking of new ways to keep PiGs fresh,” says Sarah. “We’ve had the selfie board for a while now and although it was always popular with our PiGgies, we felt it was time for a change.
“We ‘retired’ the board after the London event in the summer and the speech bubbles proved a big success – just look at the photographs!”
