A Shropshire-based installer is set to motor into another successful year of partnership with door supplier Hurst Plastics with a brand new 2,500 square foot showroom and a fleet of liveried Minis.

Heritage Glass has invested £75,000 in upgrading its showroom in Shrewsbury and has equipped it with a wide selection of windows, doors, conservatory roofs and more than 30 composite doors and door panels from Hurst Plastics.

Ahead of its 18th birthday celebrations next year, the family-run firm has also taken delivery of the first two Mini Clubman cars to join its fleet of corporate vehicles. The British racing green Minis feature eye-catching Heritage and Hurst Plastics branding and will be packed with ‘mini’ samples of PVC-u and aluminium windows and Hurst doors to demonstrate to customers in their homes.

Tony Randall, Director at Heritage, said: “We have a long pedigree and are well known in and around Shrewsbury so these new Minis will be a great asset for our business. The cars are great fun and instantly recognisable and the team can’t wait to get out on the road in them. After overhauling our showroom and adding the most extensive collection of composite doors and door panels in the region, they will really help us to speed into our 18th year!”

Mark Atkinson, Sales Director at Hurst Plastics, added: “This year has been a terrific year for Heritage and their business is going from strength to strength. As an established partner of Heritage, we were delighted to support them as they made this investment into the future of their business. The new showroom and vehicles look absolutely fantastic and they will really add to Heritage’s strong, professional image.”

Heritage switched to Hurst as its preferred door supplier a number of years ago and has taken advantage of the suite of professional sales material on offer. As well as supplying point of sale literature and fully personalised door brochures, Hurst Plastics also provides Heritage with its tailored account management system, Hurst Live.

With Hurst Live, Heritage can easily price and order bespoke composite doors, track and trace orders and access quality sales leads. Using the Door Builder software, Heritage is able to design and price an unlimited number of composite door configurations online for customers. The Heritage sales team can choose from Hurst’s selection of door styles, frame options, door and frame colours, glass and hardware options and build a bespoke door with a real time quotation.

Heritage was one of Hurst Plastics’ first installers to integrate the Hurst Lite package into the system. This bolt-on package allows Heritage customers to easily design and build their very own composite door via the Heritage website.

Tony Randall established Heritage Glass together with his father David in 1999. David has been in the window industry for 55 years making him one of the longest serving stalwarts in the industry. Paul Hotchkiss has recently been appointed as Operations Director at Heritage. He has been with the company for 16 years.
