Well respected industry leader, Andy Jones, has stepped down as Group Managing Director at Victorian Sliders, to pursue new opportunities.

It follows a period of rapid growth for the PVC-U sash window supplier, which has recently added over 50 new staff to cope with demand for its popular ECOSlide sash window.

Andy commented: “Since my appointment as Group MD in 2019 we have embarked on an investment strategy that has enabled us to scale the business rapidly, and we have seen a real transformation during that time and we’re on track for 70% growth.”

“However, the nature of the role and location requires a regular 500 mile round-trip and so it is time for me to explore new challenges and opportunities. I leave the business in great shape and on a rapid growth trajectory.”

Victorian Sliders is a vertically integrated PVC-U sash manufacturer with in-house extrusion, glass processing, manufacturing and recycling, operating from a state-of-the-art 250,000 sq ft site in South Wales and a number of major distribution hubs across the UK and Ireland.

Andy Jones has been a leading name in the glass and glazing industry for over 30 years and been a key part of UK and European growth for a number of industry giants, including Edgetech where he drove the agenda for warm edge technology.
