The Solaris Roof, the brand new conservatory roof concept launching at the FIT show this year has been awarded full building regulations approval.
“We are delighted to have achieved the final part of our research and development phase ahead of the FIT Show” comments Andrew Glover, industry figure-head and Managing Director at Solaris Solar Ltd.
“Being seen for the first time at the FIT show this year, we believe Solaris is the only conservatory on the market that can pay for itself. Combining a leading solid roof – which is fully insulated and highly efficient in itself – with solar PV panels, has resulted in a unique product that can meet up to 75% of a typical home’s electricity requirements. The product is stylish with a contemporary design, and the approval from building regulations means there is no extra work involved for installers who can cascade the information down from us.
“For the installer, although it is an easy install, flat pack product, you will be fully trained and supported by Solaris. Available as lean-to or gable-front, in a range of sizes – how great is it for a salesperson to be able to offer this huge point of differentiation with the genuine promise of home owners being able to generate their own electricity?”
“Come and talk to us on stand A50 in the innovation zone where the Solaris team will be able to demonstrate/talk to you about the future of conservatories.”
