Aluminium bi-folding door fabricator Made For Trade have added several new options to their doors, including a rebated integral cill to allow for lower step-over height and improved weather resistance.
The company’s SMART bi-fold doors will now include the additions of a square sash offering and an optional upgrade to PAS 24 certification, all of which is available with a two-week lead time in standard colours.
Made For Trade expect the new rebated integrated cill to be a very popular choice from their range. Combining the benefits of the existing rebated outer-frame system with the reduced step over height of the existing low threshold, the step-over height can be only 51mm including a cill.
Other advantages include the addition of a weather rating, with the doors tested to ensure the penetration of rain and wind does not occur during extreme weather conditions, as well as general cost savings to be made with the more efficient system.
The company have also expanded their bi-folds portfolio to include the addition of a more contemporary square sash and have also added the option of upgrading to PAS 24 certification; a guarantee which meets national security requirements.

It has been a busy start to the year for Made For Trade, with the introduction of aluminium sliding patio doors to their product range, alongside their existing bi-fold doors and conservatory roofs.
The company have also started supplying products north of the border into Scotland, with further expansion expected.
