In fact, in recent PAS-024 testing held at a UCAS approved test centre earlier this year, a PVC-U residential door with SFS intec’s Dynamic 2D hinges fitted withstood 14kN – more than three times the force required to pass the test. Only failing at this point due to the screws pulling out and not because of the hinge failure.
