Genesis Vertical Slider achieves PAS24:2016 accreditation

Bison Frames has just announced that its Genesis Vertical Slider has achieved PAS24:2016 accreditation. Mark Tetley, Bison’s Director, said: “We are delighted we can now offer a PAS24 option on our Genesis Vertical Slider. We are told it sailed through the testing process with ease, which was great to hear.”

The accreditation will extend the appeal of the Genesis Vertical Slider even further since it now means it is Document Q compliant and can be used in new dwellings and dwellings formed by a material change of use such as barn conversions. It also provides extra evidence of the security of the product in projects where this is particularly important.

The Genesis Vertical Slider has taken the market by storm in recent years thanks to the quality and authenticity of its aesthetics. It is perhaps most famed for its mechanically jointed construction, a feature that is complemented with other details such as optional Georgian bars, colour coordinated pile seals, run-through horns and a deep bottom rail that all combine in a product that is perfect for the heritage sector but is equally at home in modern buildings too. High quality hardware and a range of colours and woodgrain foiled finishes complete a very attractive package in terms of aesthetics.

But while the looks may be heritage, the Genesis Vertical Slider is very much a cutting edge window. As well as the PAS24:2016 accreditation, it can also achieve a Window Energy Rating of A and it has the benefit of low maintenance.

The Genesis Vertical Slider has built its reputation on the authenticity of its looks combined with modern day advantages. The PAS24:2016 accreditation demonstrates that the security is of a similarly exceptional standard. It’s yet another tick in the box for this trail-blazing window.
