Two thousand and seventeen was a very good year for MRA. We won new customers and helped existing customers achieve stunning results, which got us into the finals in the CIM Marketing Excellence Awards. They also won us five awards at the Construction Marketing Awards (CMAs) including the coveted Agency of the Year award.

We’ve done it in a fast changing market that’s polarised homeowners – and the installers who sell to them – into the Haves, older, largely mortgage-free homeowners who have money to spend, and the Have Nots, younger heavily mortgaged homeowners who are just about managing. It’s important to understand your market, and especially important to follow the money. Companies that do are growing in a flat to falling market: companies that don’t struggle to sell at a decent margin.

However the Brexit negotiations turn out, this separating trend into the Haves and the Have Nots will create big winners and losers, in 2018 and the next ten years.
