SFS intec has expanded its Total Support hinge van sales team to provide systems suppliers, fabricators and installers with valuable support and guidance on new hinge technology and meeting increasingly stringent legislation.
As part of this expansion, SFS intec has appointed Mike Payne as its van sales representative to be responsible for touring the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire areas, with the company’s newest hinge van. Mike will visit customers to deliver tools and accessories including hinges, as well as provide guidance on how to optimise the performance of SFS intec products and ensure that they meet all necessary regulations.
Sales and Marketing Director, Colin Yeates, said: “Mike has worked with us at SFS intec in previous years and when he accepted the offer to return to the company, we were delighted. He built up a good customer base in his earlier time with us and showed good knowledge and valuable skills in this area, so will be a welcome member of the team once again.”

The onsite service will visit individual companies to demonstrate products, installation techniques as well as invaluable product testing and training. Advising on the correct hinges for the job, technicians ensure a long term and secure performance of doors and windows for years to come.
The vans offer a new approach to technical support, allowing systems suppliers, fabricators and installers to interact with SFS intec’s technical advisors face-to-face bringing specialist advice right to their doorsteps.
