Balls2 Marketing’s Client Strategy Director Sarah Ball delivered the single most successful seminar in the FIT Show programme, “Make Social Media work for your business”. With nearly 50 people attending live at the FIT Show in Telford’s International Centre, a wider audience watched as Balls2 Marketing beamed the seminar around the world via Periscope.
“The idea of the seminar was to give companies a business case for using social media. We showed delegates a simple system for choosing the most relevant platforms, plus tips and hints for getting the best results,” says Sarah. “Most businesses know they need social media, but aren’t sure how to get started – or get going with it.”
Top tips for companies setting up social media accounts included making sure addresses are displayed in the same way across all platforms. Setting up accounts accurately can make a big difference to the way potential customers find business.
There was also a section in the seminar for tips to write good quality content for social media that engages with audiences and attracts new followers.
Every person attending the seminar was given a FREE 24 page book packed full of information on getting started and making the most from using social media. Readers who would like a copy can request one by emailing hello@balls2marketing.com
“Feedback from the seminar has been excellent. We had conversations with many of the people attending the session, to ask more in-depth questions,” Sarah adds. “The number of people attending the seminar really showed the level of interest in social media as a part of their marketing mix. It’s the second time in a row that the Balls2 Marketing Social Media slot has attracted the largest single audience within the FIT Show seminar programme.”
Sue Boreham from the FIT Show team adds: “I want to thank you again for your support on the FIT for Business seminar programme. Your time and effort are very much appreciated.”
Balls2 Marketing offers social media within a complete PR and marketing package or as a standalone service for companies looking to add social media to deliver business objectives.
