As a result, we have introduced a TS007 2* high security door handle, which allows fabricators to fit a lower cost 1* cylinder and still meet the compliance of Document Q but at a much more competitive price. The take up of this new product has been excellent.”

The new 2* high security door handle also has all the guarantees of quality that you’d expect from a Trojan product: it comes with a 10 year mechanical guarantee and because it is manufactured from high quality stainless steel it has a 25 year anti-corrosion guarantee too. Document Q, which came into effect on 1st October, 2015 requires all windows and doorsets to meet the requirements of PAS 24: 2014 or other similar standards (which are all listed in Document Q). The majority of our products already conform to Document Q compliance and by adding additional products such as our new TS007 accredited 2* door handle, we are ensuring our customers have the latest accredited products but at a very competitive price.”
