Despite turmoil outside the industry and challenges within, 2017 was one of our most successful years at Jackloc®. We received a G17 nomination for ‘Component Supplier of the Year’, and our headline MK2 key-lockable restrictor was honoured with The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, the UK’s most prestigious business award.

With that, Jackloc has benefitted from a higherprofile and greater commercial success at home and abroad, which will certainly help in 2018. The impact of Brexit, currency fluctuations, free trade and employment will all be external influences, which are difficult to plan for. We therefore expect many challenges to the industry, but we’re confident that our quality products will continue to be the market leader.

We export our window and door restrictor range across the world, to markets including North America, Asia and the Middle East. Our range is designed and manufactured in the UK, which is a valuable USP especially in international markets. The same is true for The Queen’s Award, an internationally recognised symbol of excellence which has strengthened our position on the global stage.
