Haydock based CGI International, manufacturers of Pyroguard fire resistant glass continues to invest in the future of the company by expanding its technical team and opening a new office in London.
Operating since 1988, CGI International employs over 90 individuals split between its production facilities in Haydock, Merseyside and the east of France. Over the past three years, CGI has seen an increase in its turnover from £12m to £20m as a result of making a number of changes to its UK facility and expanding manufacturing capabilities into France. With new and improved processes, a continued focus on health and safety measures and a new chemical mixing plant, CGI International is intent on making its mark on the fire glass manufacturing world.
Planning for future growth in both domestic and international sales, CGI International has increased its sales & technical team, who play a key role in devising new fire glass solutions for building projects. The two new recruits are Adrian Gallagher, Technical Sales & Specification Manager for the London area and Phil Hallworth for the North East, Scotland and Ireland area. Together with Simon Ellison they complete the UK Sales & Technical team.
The next stage of the expansion project is the opening of a London office on the 1st October in the Kings Cross area. The office will be a base for the Project & Technical teams to work with architects and the construction community in the capital. A range of samples from Pyroguard will be on show for clients and customers to view and discuss their needs for any ongoing or upcoming projects.
