Available in 12” (300mm) and 10” (250mm) sizes, the all-new, highly innovative DOORMASTER® letterplate range from UAP is ideal if customers are looking for something contemporary and modern. The DOORMASTER® letterplate has been designed to fit 20mm-40mm uPVC doors and 40-80mm composite and wooden doors, and consists of an enclosed, rounded flap set against a shallower frame. This gives a less intrusive but sleeker feel to the door. Every DOORMASTER® letterplate is engineered to provide features which cannot be found on any other letterplate.

An internal water seal prevents water from getting into the door, as water instead travels down the side of the DOORMASTER® letterplate and along the cavity, meaning post remains dry at all times. Blind bolts to the exterior of the letterplate prevent the outer frame from becoming unscrewed from the door externally.
UAP are one of the only suppliers in the industry to have the brushes on their letterplates outward-facing on the exterior flap. By doing this, it has three huge advantages. The first is that it makes it far easier for letters to be posted through the door, as the brushes can immediately be located. This automatically prevents letters from being scrunched up or damaged. Secondly, DOORMASTER® letterplate also acts as a visual deterrent against vandals who want to gain access to the cavity, as the brushes are located at the front. They will be unable to place unwanted items in there, such as fireworks or other explosives. Thirdly, the letterplate allows for far better draught installation, as it stops the draught at the point of entry instead of allowing it to get into the central cavity before trying to stop it.
